This Bozeman Restaurant Just Dropped A New Menu You’ll Want To Try
There are tons of great places to check out in Bozeman for a delicious meal. It’s honestly overwhelming with so many options, and I personally have a habit of finding something I like and sticking with it. There are, however, a few places in town that stand out not only for their food but for their history. The Western Café is a Bozeman classic. Then you’ve got Storm Castle Café, which has earned national attention after being featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives.
Another place that deserves a spotlight is The Armory Hotel. As the name suggests, it was originally built in 1941 as an armory for the National Guard. Today, it’s a stunning luxury hotel that blends history with modern design, and inside, you’ll find one of Bozeman’s finest restaurants, Fielding’s.
I had the chance to dine there last night for a special occasion. It was the debut of a new chef and a brand-new seasonal menu. Executive Chef Steven Du Bruyn, along with Chef de Cuisine Nikki Smith, Executive Sous Chef and Pastry Chef Eva Wong, Food and Beverage Director Judi Crisman, have created something truly memorable.
Here’s a look at what I was lucky enough to try: Eva’s Cornbread with burnt chili honey butter, Delicata Doughnuts made with beer-battered squash and fermented hot honey, an Endive & Little Gem Salad with compressed apples and spiced walnuts, and Scallop Risotto with pumpkin and crispy prosciutto.
For the main course, the Bison Tenderloin with brown butter spaetzle was a standout. And dessert? Let’s just say the Apple Cider Donut Bites and Banana Bread with chocolate mousse with a pear were the perfect finale.
