Popular Business Closes Its Doors Permanently In Bozeman
Without a whole lot of fanfare a popular Bozeman business known to many, quietly leave the area.
I've heard mixed reviews on owning a business here in Bozeman. Some folks say it is darn near impossible to fail, while others point to the cost of raising rent prices and the cost of living effecting their sales. However, while I never used their services, I was very much surprised to come across a simple sign saying that the business was closed and thanking their customers.
Which Bozeman business is leaving the area?
Saturday is the day my wife and I hang out and go do things. Some of the things my wife wants to do, I don't, so for those activities, I sit in the truck while she shops. So, this past Saturday while she was spending all of our money at Hobby Lobby, I noticed a sign in front of Grifols Biomat USA Plasma Center.
The sign said the following:
To our valid Plasma Donors. This location is closing May 4th, 2026. We are grateful for the years of life-saving donations and continued community.
While I have never donated plasma, I know several folks have and it was a nice way of making ends meet, or maybe extra money to save for doing something fun like a vacation.
It should be noted that the Plasma Center has wonderful reviews scoring a 4.8 out of 5 Stars.
I was searching the internet and one source said that the company where closing down all of the Montana locations and a several others across the country, so I decided to go to their website. When I searched for Montana, the screen came up telling me there were no centers in my area.

It seems that the company did send an email to donors that they would be closing the Bozeman facility, however, those looking to continue to donate seem to be out of luck for now.
