Life is pretty good for Montana State University sports fans right now.

Not only are we in possession of the the "Brawl of the Wild" trophy, we also won a National Championship in football at the beginning of the year. Not to mention our other sports teams are on the rise, to quote our Athletic Director Leon Costello "It's a great day to be a Bobcat".

However, it seems that we have something else to hang our hat on, and this latest bit of information is pretty impressive.

As most know, college towns have certain reputations. Some are good, some are not so good. However, it seems that here in Bozeman, Montana we must be doing something right, because not only where we voted the best college town in Montana, it seems that we're the best college town in the United States.

According to the Montana State Bobcat Football Fan page, they shared a graphic that showed the Top 50 schools. Oh, and to sit the record straight, that's not small colleges, that's all colleges.

While this will no doubt make them clutch their chest down in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and Texas (and over in Missoula) the results are the results and I agree with them. I've worked in some pretty big college towns (Columbia, MO, Austin, TX AND Missoula, MT) and I've never seen a community more behind their school than Bozeman.

Bozeman is just different.

Oh, and it should also be noted that no other Montana school made the list. Now, I'm not sure what went into determining the results, but I'm not surprised, nor is this the first time Bozeman has been ranked top dog on these kinds of things.
