Bozeman Fire Victim Identified

The victim of a fatal fire on Monday afternoon has been identified as Sheryl Anne Mooney, 74, of Bozeman.

Mooney was found inside an apartment structure fire that occurred around 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon on Black Ave. An autopsy was conducted and the cause of death identified as carbon monoxide poisoning due to soot and smoke inhalation. The death has been ruled accidental.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
