Bobcat Stadium Concerts In Bozeman

In case you didn't know, Mumford and Sons are coming to Bozeman this summer to play at Bobcat Stadium.

This of course is big news, because it's very rare to have a concert at Bobcat Stadium, in fact the last one was Kenny Chesney a few years back. The main reason for the lack of concerts was the football team. The team used the field during the summer to practice, however, with the addition of the indoor practice facility, does that mean more concerts outdoors?

We certainly hope so.

While Mumford and Sons might not be everyone's cup of tea, it's great news for the city of Bozeman. In fact, I read somewhere that this concert would bring several million dollars to the area, which is never a bad thing.

For years, Missoula has had a stronghold on the outdoor concert thing. With Kettle House and Washington/Grizzly Stadium they've been able to attract some big names over the years such as:

Pearl Jam
Pink
Shania Twain
Paul McCartney
The Rolling Stones
Guns and Roses

In case you're keeping track, that's 4 singers/bands that are in the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame.

I get that Missoula is a bigger town, but it's certainly not better. Our airport is superior, we have better hotels, and our restaurants are top notch. The only thing we are missing is a big place to have concerts.

Now, don't get me wrong, we have some terrific places to see live music here in Bozeman. The Elm is top notch, plus the Brick has had several concerts, but there is just something about being outside, in the summer with the mountains in the background listening to one of your favorite bands or singers.

Who should play at Bobcat Stadium in Bozeman?

So, who would you like to see perform at Bobcat Stadium? Who do you think could sell out the stadium? For me, I would love to see George Strait, Luke Combs, Bruce Springsteen, or Eric Church.

The Old Saloon Lineup For 2026

Nothing says Montana in the summer like a trip to Emigrant and a show at The Old Saloon. Since 1902, folks have been stopping at The Old Saloon. Today it's for a great meal, a cold drink, and a great show.

Over the years, some very talented artists have played The Old Saloon, and this year is no different.
