Bozeman Area New Years Day Weather Update

The Winter Weather Advisory from the National Weather Service remains for the Bozeman Area until 11 p.m. this evening. For the Gallatin Valley today expect it remain cold and windy, but little snow accumulation.

Travel could be difficult, and areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. Winds in the Gallatin Valley are expected to be between 15 - 20 mph. Gusts at times could reach 40 mph.

In Livingston, the High Wind Warning remains in effect until 6 p.m. tonight. Winds gusts have already reached between 65 - 75 mph. Several semis were blown over on New Years Eve.
