This is a pleasant surprise before the first home game in almost two years for the Bobcats.

KBZK is reporting that for the first time in Bobcat Stadium's history alcohol will be able for purchase at a beer garden. The beer garden will be in the northwest corner of Bobcat Stadium and will be operated by downtown restaurant Plonk. You will only be able to drink the alcohol in the beer garden, you can't take it with you in the stadium.

This is a big move by Montana State and has been a long time coming. Bobcat fans have only been able to drink adult beverages in the tailgating area or if you are lucky enough the stadium box seats. Now everyone who is of age will be able to get a delicious beer and be able to watch the Bobcats play at the same time live.

The only time they have ever allowed alcohol sales in Bobcat Stadium so far was when Imagine Dragons performed live but fans have been clamoring for Montana State to allow beer sales at home games and now they have their wish. If they get a big turnout they might have to add another beer garden.

The beer garden will be open 90 minutes before the game starts and patrons will be able to buy two beers at a time maximum. Also, you will have to have tickets to access the beer garden due to the location being inside Bobcat Stadium.
