Unmanned Boat On Flathead Lake Sparks Rescue

Every once in a while, you scroll TikTok and find something that makes you laugh, cringe, and question reality all at the same time. This one takes place right here in Montana on Flathead Lake, where two brothers turned a wake surfing session into a full-on rescue mission.

In the video, the younger brother (15) is wake surfing behind the boat while his big brother (21) is at the helm. All’s going fine, until big bro decides to leave the wheel to hand his sibling a drink. Bad idea. He slips, falls right into the water, and suddenly there’s no one driving the boat.

The 15-year-old, still riding the board, tries to save the day by hopping onto the boat. He misses, splashes in, and now both brothers are floating with an unmanned boat cruising along. Enter two jet skiers who just happen to witness the whole thing. They swoop in, pick up the brothers, and rush one of them back to the runaway boat. With a quick jump and a grab of the throttle, the boat is finally under control. The best part? At the end of the footage, one of the brothers looks at the camera and says, “Don’t tell my dad, please.”
