“Montana’s Christmas Village” Is A Must See For The Holidays
It's no secret that I love Christmas. It's my favorite time of year, and once it's over, I always feel a little down.
I'm not sure why I'm such a fan, looking back on most of the years past, it involved my family yelling at each other and my Dad waiting with a trash bag in hand to throw away all of the wrapping paper as people were still opening gifts.
Don't get me wrong, I've had a few really special Christmases. My first Canadian Christmas was amazing, as was the Christmas we spent in Germany. Living in Montana, we certainly have the background for a magical Christmas, with the snow-capped mountains, the beautiful forests, and all of the Christmas Strolls.

Other places may get more love than we do. There's Leavenworth, Washington, which is spectacular. Ashville, North Carolina, home to the Biltmore Mansion, is another bucket list item. There's New York City, Branson, Missouri, and Park City, Utah, just to name a few.
Where is the best place to spend Christmas in Montana?
Well, that's debatable as folks have strong opinions on such topics; however, it seems that you can't go wrong with Bigfork, Montana. In fact, Bigfork is known as "Montana's Christmas Village".
Let's be honest, that's high praise.
So, what makes Bigfork such a big deal? Well, the town is known to take its holiday cheer to the next level. There are lights, decorations, community get-togethers, and a whole lot more that make Christmas in Bigfork memorable.
It should be noted that while Bigfork might be Montana's Christmas Village, it certainly isn't the only place to get into the Christmas spirit. Both Bozeman and Livingston are known for their Christmas joy. In fact, spending time in Livingston around Christmas is one of my favorite things to do.
