Firework Shows in and Around Bozeman
Each year the Gallatin County Fairgrounds puts on a firework show right around dusk on the 4th of July. The firework spectacle at the Fairgrounds is visible from nearly everywhere in Bozeman, but the best viewing locations are up high at places like Peet's Hill, the Dinosaur Park or even your roof if it is safe to climb on! Be sure to tune your radio dial to XL Country 100.7 for patriotic music in sync with the fireworks
Belgrade also does a firework show for our friends to the West!
Livingston has what they say is the Biggest firework show/festival in the Valley! The firework show is scheduled for July 4th after the rodeo.
Floating the River
Both the Madison River and the Jefferson River are great rivers for relaxing and floating around Bozeman. They are popular 4th of July locations for everyone in the valley trying to beat the heat.
There are shuttles going to and from the Madison River floating location provided by Montana Whitewater in Bozeman at 11th and Main.
Livingston Parade and Rodeo
The parade through historic Livingston is July 2nd and you can see a map of the route here. It's a great way to experience Montana heritage.

Ice Cream Social at The Museum of the Rockies
Enjoy free Wilcoxson's ice cream, games and crafts at the Living History Farm. Just pay for admission and the ice cream and activities are free.
