Back To School – Help Stop Bullying

I remember being terrified to go to school in junior high.  There was an older girl who threatened to beat the @#%& out of me.  I didn't even know who she was.  I wasn't as mouthy then as I am now, in fact, I was quite shy.  She was just a bully who decided to target me.

It's still going on.  My daughter has come home in tears because of bullying.  I told her to try and ignore the person, and tell a school official if it turns physical or if it doesn't stop.

I also told her that if someone ever lays a hand on her, she has my permission to protect herself in any way she can.  I realize that this doesn't always work, and some people will disagree with it.
