Could ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ be the surprise blockbuster of the summer? Critics certainly seem to think so. The James Franco vehicle, which serves as a reboot of the classic ‘Apes’ franchise, is receiving strong reviews thus far – or at least stronger than most had expected.

Charlie Sheen on Monday revealed new details about his follow-up to ‘Two and a Half Men’ – a sitcom based on the 2003 Adam Sandler movie, ‘Anger Management.’ According to EW.com, Sheen will play “a mild-mannered, non-confrontational man” who “is ordered to attend group anger management sessions led by a therapist who could probably use some anger management himself.”

The ‘Transformers’ are back for two and a half hours worth of action in ‘Dark of the Moon,’ the third movie in Michael Bay’s mega-blockbuster franchise. Reviews for the movie have been a bit on the negative side; but with it already pulling in $13.5 million on Tuesday, it’s looking to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, movie of the year.
