A Beautiful Montana Video With A Bit Of Concern For Our Summer.
A good friend of mine, Shaun Johnson, was visiting our beautiful state last week and it brought something to my attention. He is a photographer/videographer and I saw that he had taken a video with his drone over parts of the Yellowstone River. His talent is one that many dream of having.
Watch the video and tell me if you see the same concern I am seeing.
Beautiful right? But what is missing? The answer: snow. We are just 3 weeks into March and really we shouldn't be seeing so much brown. There should be snow on the tips of the mountains at least.
Last summer, as I am sure you all remember, was smoke filled. To the point where it was hard to even be outside. We are still in need of a large percentage of moisture to get our water levels to where they need to be. I am a bit concerned that we will have a repeat of last year. We all can agree on one thing...a dry summer is not good.
As the old spring saying goes, "in like a lion, out like a lamb" for the month of March. Well mother nature, we need some help here. Not only for our water supply, but for our farmers. Another dry summer is never a positive problem for the Ag world.
What do you think Montana? Am I over thinking or do you see the same issue I do with this beautiful video? Send a message on the XL Country App and let me know. I try to leave these things to the experts, you guys. Most of you have at least a bit of knowledge.
