Mildred Loveday jokes that she’d probably die if she met Garth Brooks. The 104-year-old super-fan from Huntsville, Ala. is at the center of a Facebook push aiming to get the singer's attention.

The woman's great-grandson, Brian Brooks (not related to Garth), started the “104 year old Great Grandmother wants to meet Garth Brooks” page shortly after her birthday last Wednesday (Nov. 11). Loveday recently talked to Huntsville television station WHNT-19 about why she loves the Oklahoman country star so much.

“I think he’s precious,” she explains. “At night when I am sick and lonely, I play his music and it calms me and makes me feel good. He just sounds so pretty.”

Loveday adds that Brooks has “the most beautiful voice” and she likes that he’ll talk about the Lord and then “turn right around and say something ugly!”

“Friends in Low Places,” Brooks hit from 1990, is the centenarian's all-time favorite song, although she also likes "The Dance" and "If Tomorrow Never Comes." While she’s never met Brooks, she does have a gift from the singer. For her 100th birthday in 2011, he signed a photo for her. She owns all of his albums and listens to them through headphones, as her hearing isn’t very good any longer.

Brooks, a 2015 CMA Entertainer of the Year nominee, is currently on his World Tour, but there are significant breaks in his schedule through the end of the year. It's not clear if he's seen Loveday's request. She's actually never seen him live, as she was into her late 70s when he started to become famous, but has seen him on television many times, according to Al.com, and reads anything about him she can find.
