The Eight Reasons We’d Want Mom To Move In Instead of Dad

Honestly, I'd take both of my parents.  I'm not just saying that because they are probably reading this...but they're a hoot!  My Mom likes to shop and drink wine with me, and my Dad likes to go fishing with me!

According to a new survey, 70% of adults do NOT want either one of their parents to move in with them when they get older. But if they HAD to pick one, two thirds say they'd pick MOM. Here are the eight reasons why:

1. Mom would help more with cooking and cleaning.  (true)

2. Mom would be better with the kids. (mine are both great with the kids)

3. Dad has worse hygiene than Mom.  (no comment)

4. Dad is more likely to say inappropriate things. (I like this trait in a person)

5. Mom would be neater. (very true)

6. Dad is lazier than Mom.  (neither one is lazy!)

7. Dad would want to control the TV.  (All Jeapordy, all the time)

8. Mom is a better listener. (no comment)
