I am using this picture, because I take terrible pictures, and it's the only one I can find that is halfway decent.  Plus, it has Blake Shelton in it, and my grandma will love it!

I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of the amazing XL Country listeners for letting me be a part of their morning for the past 11 years.

I have decided to leave XL Country,   and spend more time with my family.  (Russell is sticking around, but moving to middays 10 - 3).  My husband has done such a wonderful job getting them off to school in the morning, and Townsquare Media has been so good about being flexible with my hours, so I don't miss much time with my kids.

That being said, I am tired!  This job, that I love so much, is rather time consuming when done right.  My daughter is headed into middle school, which is such an important, difficult time for kids.  I want to be there for her and the others when they go to school and come home.

I am leaving radio, but am sticking around Southwest Montana, which I love so much, and call home. I still don't know what I'm doing next, but look forward to the adventure!

I am not going to miss the early morning hours, but I am going to miss the listeners so much.  I have such great memories, and feel honored that I got to be a part of your morning for so long.  There are not enough words to thank you for your kindness and generosity of spirit.

I will miss you!

P.S.  Headwaters Country Jam is my last hoorah, so come and have an icy cold one with me!
