Montana State (2012): MSU’s starting Mike linebacker after starting for most of 2012… named a D’Agostino Family Strength Award winner for the spring.
(2011) Registered an outstanding season as a sophomore… played in all 13 games, starting the last 10… finished the season with 37 tackles, including 2.5 for a loss… was in on five tackles against Weber State and NAU, and also picked off an NAU pass… led the team with three interceptions, including one – along with–a near miss – in the playoff loss to Sam Houston State… forced a UC Davis fumble.
(2010) Logged seven tackles as a true freshman… recovered a fumble against Washington State… played in all 12 games, largely as a special teams standout.
High School Earned first team all-district honors as a senior, leading his team to the Texas 5A Cahmpionship… also teamed with current Bobcat quarterback DeNarius McGhee to lead Trinity to the 2008 state title.

Moeakiola, a 5-11, 217-pound junior from Euless, Texas, tallied a team-high nine tackles – including five for loss – with a sack in No. 3 Montana State’s 20-17 road win over Sacramento State. The five tackles for loss are the most by a Big Sky player this season. His sack helped forced the Hornets to attempt a 53-yard field goal, which was no good. MSU’ defense forced four turnovers and held Sac State to 82 rushing yards
