Millie Fire Evacuation Warnings Lifted
The Gallatin County Sheriff’s Office has had numerous discussions with the United States Forest Service, and as a result of those discussions, they believe it is appropriate to lift all Evacuation Warnings pertaining to the Millie Fire.
Millie Firefighters Battle Wind
The Millie Fire is now 45 percent contained and remains at 10,205 acres.
Firefighters continued their efforts today securing existing containment lines and doing so during today’s strong winds.

The lightning caused Mille Fire, burning 20 miles south/southwest of Bozeman, in the Storm Castle Creek drainage on the Gallatin National Forest, is about three miles east of Rat Lake near the Blanchard inholding.
