Sheriff Looking for 82 yr old Alzheimer Woman [UPDATE]

Sheriff’s Search and Rescue with Bridger Canyon, Bozeman Fire Depts and Bozeman Police are currently searching for an 82 year old woman suffering from Alzheimers. 

She was last seen in the area of the M trail head about 8:00 last night.  The Sheriff’s Office recieved a 911 call from her husband at 1:13 a.m. and searchers have been in the field since that time.  Sheriff Gootin asks that anyone with information or a sighting contact the Sheriff’s Office at 582-2100.

They are looking for Sarah Jane Shaw.  5’4″ 120 pounds, white hair, blue eyes.  No clothing description is avaiable.  She is reported to be in good physical condition and Alzheimer patients have been know to travel long distances.

[UPDATE 7:47AM 6/26/12] The missing woman has been reported to be found and safe.
