High Wind Warning For Monday

Yuck.

A High Wind Warning is in effect from 9 am Monday to midnight MDT Monday night.

Westerly winds will increase early Monday morning, becoming strong and gusty by mid morning.

Winds will then diminish late Monday night.

Travel will be difficult for high profile vehicles... especially along north to south oriented roads, such as Interstate 15 and U.S. Highway 287.

West winds of 30 to 40 mph are expected with gusts to 60 mph for Monday through Monday evening.

Also... thunderstorms may happen Monday afternoon, possibly causing wind gusts to bemore erratic in direction at times.

* Locations affected include: Battle Ridge Pass... Bozeman...Bozeman Pass... Targhee Pass... West Yellowstone... Boulder...Boulder Hill... Elk Park Pass... Homestake pass... Whitehall...Townsend...
