When 2021 started, we all imagined a year full of concerts, parades, and events that would finally be back. But now that we are at the end of February, it seems like 2021, so far, is just a continuation of 2020. Most COVID-19 directives are still in place, with some places in Montana still requiring people to wear masks, limits on crowd sizes, and hand sanitizer everywhere.

Though there are a few things that are beginning to break free and work with local directives. For example, earlier this week, the Armory in Bozeman announced shows with Kip Moore, and now we have another show to look forward to.

Tim Montana, a Butte native, has announced he is planning on performing in Dillon, Montana for St. Patrick's Day. This is notable news since even the Butte St. Patrick's Day Parade was canceled again this year.

Want to go to one of the first concerts in 2021? Here's what you need to know:

  • Who: Tim Montana
  • Where: Frontier Event Center in the former Shopko location at 102 E Helena St in Dillon, Montana
  • When: March 17th at 8 p.m.
  • Tickets: Tickets are not up for grabs yet, but you can sign up to be notified when they do go on sale here.

Tim Montana is one of Rolling Stone’s “Artists You Need to Know” and is described as "a little bit country with lots of hard rocks — or maybe he’s a rocker in touch with some serious country roots,” according to ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.

When Tim announced the show he posted on his Facebook page:

We’re getting rowdy in Dillon, MT on St Patty’s Day! Full band performance with lots of new songs!! LET’S GO!
