One of the real joys about living here is checking out all the Blue and Gold Bobcat apparel as you travel around town. To say Bozeman is "Bobcat Crazy" would be an understatement.
The Cats travel to Portland, Oregon to take on Portland State. While the game is sure to be a good one, the Head Coach of Portland State made headlines over the weekend when he offered to buy fans a beer if they came and watched his team.
To say that the student athletes, students, alumni, and people of Bozeman and the surrounding areas are excited would be an understatement. We've waited for this for a long time, almost two years. To be able to get together and be united in one glorious voice as we cheer on our beloved Bobcats is going to be one for the ages.
Fall in Montana is beautiful and while we might not get the massive love that places in the Northeast get, (I'm talking about you Vermont) I wouldn't trade ours for anything. So when I look at this weeks forecast for Bozeman and the surrounding areas, I get a little excited because these cooler temperatures remind me that Fall is just around the corner.
So, with all of this "Vaccine Lottery" talk really got me thinking. All over the nation, including at MSU, they're having lotteries were people that have received the vaccine can win prizes, cash, cars, etc.
When I first moved to Bozeman, some of my co-workers were kind enough to give me the heads up on the things you need do to look and act like a "Bozemanite".
The Bobcat's 2021 season kicks off on the road against Wyoming, September 4th, and returning to Bozeman to take on Drake, Saturday September 11th in the Home Opener. Other Home games this year include San Diego, Northern Colorado, Cal Poly, Idaho State, and Idaho.
