Today is a big day for me, it was 5 years ago that I closed on my very first home. 5 years and I haven't burned it down yet - I have flooded it, started it on fire (major oops), painted, repainted, demo'd - It's been puked on and chewed up by the dogs -  I have mowed and cleaned tirelessly...BUT its all mine.

I bought my house close to 5 years ago, and it’s needed a lot of fixing up.  I am chipping away at it one piece at a time, and last night was a MAJOR deal for me.  I HAVE A GARAGE DOOR OPENER!  Now, I know this may seem petty to some, but think of it – every day at least twice a day you are out in the weather opening and closing your garage door...
