It's true. It's actually gone. As in, not part of the flowing East Gallatin River anymore due to recent flooding activity. A perfect example of Mother Nature doing whatever she wants.
There is an ice jam on the Gallatin River already causing flooding south of Gallatin Gateway. Flood Warning is in effect until 6pm Sunday night. Details here:

I just got an update from the National Weather Service and the outlook is more rain and higher water into next week end. The Shields River is approximately 1/2 foot below flood stage and is an area of concern at this time. It appears that we will probably get a considerable amount of rain starting midweek...
