One down, and I assume several to go.

I did it.  I got Emma a cell phone for her 10th birthday.  It's a basic phone that only calls and texts, and it comes with a ton of rules. She can't take it to school.  She can't use it after 8pm.  She can't have it at the dinner table...

My oldest, Emma, turns 10 today.  Double digits!  How did this happen so quickly? I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with her...the day the doctor told me I was having a little girl...the day I went into labor, and of course, the moment I held her in my arms.

My oldest, Emma, is a great kid.  She has a heart of gold and is fun, kind, and compassionate.  She is also the kid who wants to try every sport...usually just until she gets the uniform, and then wants to quit. What I am finding, is that she doesn't want to compete in any sports that take up her weekend with her family, which I love...
