Townsquare Media is looking for a bright, reliable, detail oriented individual to join our programming team in Bozeman Montana.  Townsquare Media in Bozeman is home to five top radio stations and the official radio broadcast partner of Montana State University athletics.

Responsibilities

  • General operation of the station’s audio board throughout each radio broadcast including streaming elements during Montana State University Football, Men’s Basketball and Women’s Basketball broadcasts
  • Regulates program timing, operates syndicated programming, and plays commercials
  • Monitors the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming from the master control room
  • Processes time-out programming for accurate playback
  • Follows all FCC guidelines
  • Checks studio equipment for proper functioning and notifies Engineering of technical malfunctions affecting the quality of the broadcast
  • Prior to and during broadcasts, ensure quality and functionality of all aspects of audio associated with all MSU Athletics broadcasts
  • Verifying and executing commercial logs during each event
  • Effectively communicate behind the scenes with the on-air radio hosts during games
  • Upload audio from each game to the cloud and send to Learfield, MSU and other local media outlets

Qualifications

  • No previous experience required, we will train you
  • Able to work nights and weekends when almost all games take place throughout MSU’s football and basketball regular and post seasons
  • MUST show up on time and fully prepared before each broadcast begins
  • Strong desire to grow and learn
  • Drive and enthusiasm
  • Positive attitude and very reliable
  • Education: High school degree (required)
