Could This Popular Burger Chain Close Their One Montana Location?
We hope this restaurant chain can bounce back.
Business Closures in Montana
There have been quite a few closures in Big Sky Country recently.
Several prominent department stores and restaurant chains shut down operations or closed stores across Montana.
Big Lots and JoAnn Fabrics have been some of the most recent closures in Montana.
Cities like Bozeman, Butte, Missoula, and more have seen massive stores permanently close.
It's not only big box stores; several food franchises have shut down in Montana.
Burger King, Denny's, and others have shuttered restaurant locations due to poor sales.
Many Montanans have wondered what will replace these iconic stores and what the next franchise will be to close shop.
Hopefully, it's not this popular burger chain.

Red Robin Announces Closures
USA Today reports that Red Robin, a popular burger franchise, will shut down 70 locations nationwide due to underperformance.
Red Robin is known for hand-crafted gourmet burgers, affordable prices, and bottomless fries.
The campfire sauce is a must with those fries.
Why are they shutting down so many restaurants?
Sales have dipped in the past two years, and they are trying new ways to pay off their debt.
They haven't announced which locations will shut down, but we hope it's not Montana's only location in Billings.
We could see Red Robin keeping their Billings location open for the foreseeable future.
That location sees consistent business from locals and visitors.
Red Robin used to have a location in Missoula, but that spot closed several years ago.
Burger franchises have had a rough time finding footing in Montana.
Many Montana restaurants offer gourmet or smash burgers daily for an affordable price.
Will the Billings Red Robin survive?
We hope so.
