Everyone wants to come to this university.

Montana State University has been receiving national recognition for several reasons.

Montana State has young adults coming to Bozeman for higher education. They can receive a degree in architecture, film, agriculture, nursing, and more.

Montana State Athletics has also been gaining more national recognition thanks to multiple nationally televised games for football and the basketball teams consistently making the NCAA Tournament.

One of the people who elevated Montana State's status is current President Waded Cruzado.

Cruzado has been at the forefront in making Montana State the best it can be.

Montana State has seen significant upgrades to dorms, athletic facilities, student life, and more because of Cruzado.

Cruzado announced in the Fall of 2024 that she would leave in June 2025.

Many wondered who would become the new President of Montana State.

This man has some big shoes to fill.

Upper Michigan Source reports that Brock Tessman, the current President of Northern Michigan University, will be Montana State's 13th President.

Tessman will officially take over as the President of Montana State on July 15th.

Why was Tessman perfect for the job?

Tessman has former ties with the Montana University System, working at the University of Montana.

Tessman has a reputation for helping students have a fantastic college experience. He wants to give them all the opportunities to succeed in and out of the classroom.

We can't wait to see Tessman at his first Bobcat football game and pep rally. He will find out the pride this community has for Montana State University.
