Popular Store in Montana Announces Massive Change Coming
Is the fee worth the price of admission into this store? Most folks would say yes.
Everyone is watching their money these days especially when buying groceries.
With rising prices, everyone looks for a fantastic deal on all goods. One of the best ways to save money is by buying in bulk.
There is one store in Montana that gives you that opportunity more than others. Which one?
Costco is the most popular store in Montana. They have groceries, clothes, goods, and many services that customers love. If you are planning a big party or have a large family, getting groceries here can save you money.
Is there a downside? The only way you can shop at Costco is if you have a membership card. It's a yearly fee and worth the price if you shop there consistently.
The fee used to be $50 a year, but they raised the price to be a member at $60 seven years ago. Many were upset with the price hike, and this news might anger some folks again.
According to USA Today, Costco's base membership will go from $60 to $65, and their Executive Membership, which includes a 2% reward, will go from $120 to $130.
The CEO announced this might become a regular thing every five years or so.
This price hike isn't as severe as some would think, but the last time Costco raised its membership fees, there was quite an outrage.
We hope this prepares you for the future of shopping at Costco, but at least we all can find solace that the $1.50 hot dog combo isn't going away.
