A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 pm tonight.

Snow showers will increase in coverage late this morning in the West Yellowstone area and the surrounding mountains.

Some of the snow showers could become heavy this afternoon. Snow showers should taper off during the evening. Snow accumulations will cause difficult driving conditions.

* Snow accumulations: additional snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches are expected.

* Winds and visibility: winds are expected to be light... but visibilities will be reduced below one mile in the heavier snow showers.

* Locations affected include: Targhee Pass... West Yellowstone...Raynolds Pass.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while driving.
