Winter Storm Watch Above 5500′ Thursday Night-Saturday Morning
The National Weather Service in Great Falls has issued a Winter Storm Watch for elevations above 5500 feet… which is in effect from late Thursday night through Saturday morning.
Snow accumulations: snow accumulations of 10 to 16 inches are possible above 5500 with 3 to 5 inches possible below 5500 feet Thursday night through Saturday morning.
Visibility: heavy snow will cause reduced visibilities less than one half mile at times.
Locations affected include: Battle Ridge Pass… Bozeman Pass… Targhee Pass… West Yellowstone… Raynolds Pass.
