I-90 is closed between Laurel and Columbus due to a fire in the area and high winds. There have also been numerous accidents, including a reported fatality crash in the same area due to the high winds and smoke from the fire.

Locally, high winds were the cause of several trees being blown over in Bozeman this afternoon, including one that reportedly ruptured a gas line on East Story Street.The Bozeman Chronicle is also reporting trees down in the Four Corners area that knocked over power lines.

In the Amsterdam area local fire crews were called to put out a grass fire.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind warning for Gallatin County, with some gusts expected to be over 60 mph.
