William Shatner’s ‘Searching for Major Tom’ Covers Album
Have you ever heard William Shatner’s albums? He has several he recorded back when! Now Entertainment Weekly reports that Brad Paisley will record with William Shatner on his upcoming cosmic album of “space-themed cover songs,” titled ‘Searching for Major Tom.’ Brad is a HUGE Star Trek fan and loves William Shatner to death! Remember that he was in a couple of Brad’s music video’s too!
Paisley will be featured on a cover of Steve Miller’s ‘Space Cowboy’ on Shatner’s second talk-sing album, the first having been released back in 1968.
William Shatner has a bunch of his friends in the music biz to “go where no man has gone before.” On ‘Searching for Major Tom,’ he’ll add guest-heavy tracks, including Paisley’s playing the guitar with Peter Frampton on Norman Greenbaum’s ‘Spirit in the Sky.’
