Will Cameras Go Bye Bye

I used to carry my point and shoot Sony camera everywhere with me.  Now that I have a smartphone, never.  Just don't want to lug it around anymore. I know the pictures I shoot aren't as great as before, however, I can upload instantly to Facebook and email them directly to family and friends.  What about you?  Still have a camera that you use each day, or have you, like me joined millions of others and just "see it, snap it, save it, send it"!
