Why Do People Stare At Pregnant Ladies?

I just started to notice this lately.  Everyone seems to stare at my lovely pregnant wife everywhere we go!  Have they never seen a pregnant lady before?  Is it because she looks like she's stealing a basketball under her shirt?

I keep saying it's because she looks pretty cute with a belly on her!  It was always funny when people would ask if she was pregnant--- We would always say no she's just been drinking a lot of beer lately.  That doesn't always go over so well.  What funny stories do you have about your pregnancy?
