through Thursday night will range from 1 to 4 inches in the
lover valleys to 10 to 20 inches above 7000 feet.

Snow accumulations: total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches
at lower elevations but 7 to 15 inches in the mountains are
likely.

* Timing and main impact: light snow is expected to spread over
the area this morning and increase in intensity this afternoon
particularly over ... the mountains. Snow will be heavy at
times in the mountains through Thursday night. Snow could be
briefly heavy in the valleys.
