Weather is such a shot in the dark. Guess that's why it's called a weather forecast and not a weather certainty. A forecast is not a sure thing. It's sort of like predicting the outcome of football games on Sunday. Even with today's sophisticated weather computers, it seems like the weather forecast we use is wrong most of the time.

Friday they told us to prepare for snow. Over 7 inches was predicted for the local mountains and even 2-3 inches for us down here in the valley. As of Sunday about noon, they've now revised this to little or no snow in the valleys and only a few inches up in the local mountains.

What does all this mean? Never believe a weather forecast or a football prognosticator. If you want accurate weather, look outside your window . . . Which right now, by the way, is snow-free!
