Here's the latest on Dakota, the Siberian Husky that was hit by a vehicle in Belgrade last week. Chris (owner) said Dakota was brought home from the vet yesterday and reunited with his family.

Chris says Dakota has about 6 weeks of recovery ahead of him, and right now he needs assistance to walk (see pic below). He wants to thank Dr. Evans over at Gallatin Pet Getaway for all they've done for Dakota, and he also wants to thank the XL Nation for all the care and concern that it has shown.

Dakota went missing last week and was found close to the railroad tracks in Belgrade out near the airport. It was first believed Dakota had been shot, but later it was determined he was hit by a vehicle. The other dog that was with him was uninjured. Chris said he would continue to keep us updated on Dakota's recovery.
