A few weeks ago on the XL Morning Show we spoke with Gerry & Pat Goede before they left to ride their tandem bike from the Gulf of Mexico to Canada and back to Bozeman. They’re doing it to raise scholarship funds for Heritage Christian School.
They left Galvaston, TX on May 28th and when we caught up with them today they are preparing to leave Stillwater, Oklahoma. Listen below to hear about their journey, thus far:
Gerry Goede, a math & science teacher and co-administrator at Heritage Christian School, and his wife, Pat, will ride their tandem bike from the Gulf of Mexico to Canada and back to Bozeman to raise scholarship funds for Heritage Christian School. The trip will take place fromMay 28through July 2014.
This Ride Across AMerica (RAAM) is the second trip of it’s kind, with the first one taking place in 2008—which raised about $12,000.
