This past weekend, the NFL had its annual draft. One player from Montana State was drafted and another one signed a free agent deal.

With the 252nd pick in the 2016 NFL draft, the Carolina Panthers selected former MSU tight end Beau Sandland. Sandland was Second Team All American and First Team All Big Sky this past season. He also lead the Bobcats with nine touchdown catches last season.
