Twin Bridges Teenager Killed In Weekend Accident

19-year-old Michael Pfertsch, a Twin Bridges High School student, was killed early Sunday morning in a car accident.  Michael was riding in a truck bed after a bonfire, when the truck veered off the road and rolled.  Two males and two females were in the front of the single-cab truck, and sustained non-life threatening injuries. They tried to resuscitate Michael, who died at the scene.

Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Mitch Voss said both alcohol and speed were factors in the crash. An investigation into the crash continues, but at this point no charges have been filed.

Michael Pfertsch was a receiver for the Twin Bridges Falcons, and called a football star.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
