I treat myself regularly.  I try not to binge on sweets, and I try to find good deals when I shop.  Sometimes, though...eating too much chocolate, or buying those shoes that are too expensive feels GOOD!  Turns out, I could be a scientist!

According to the Daily Mail, researchers say denying yourself may make you feel more worthy, but resisting the things we love is bad for us. A study of British women found that those who gave in to temptation on a regular basis were much happier than those who restrained themselves.

Scientists say that self-regulation makes people more inclined to feel dissatisfied -- proving the old adage that a little of what you like really does do you good.
