We've all been put in a position where we've had the decision of choosing the right thing to do, or choosing the wrong thing to do.

To the person that chose the wrong thing by backing into my car and then driving off, I'd like to ask you a few questions. Have you ever heard of the old saying "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you?" What if someone had ran into your car, and left without leaving a note?

First off, I take a lot of pride in my car. I worked my butt off to be able to afford it. I wash it on a regular basis, and have always kept up on regular maintenance. Now, I have a nice big dent in my hood thanks to someone who doesn't even have the common decency to own up to it. I was parked on Lamme just east of Grand. I always try to park in the station parking lot, but due to limited space, I sometimes have to park on the street. If you are the culprit, I ask you do do the right thing, and take responsibility for it. You can reach me Monday-Friday from 2pm-6pm. The number is 406-582-1061.

I just want to know why in that moment, you chose to drive off and not leave a note? I don't want to sue you. I don't even want compensation for the damage. I just want to hear your side of the story. Maybe you were having a bad day. If you were, I can understand that, but it's still not an excuse to avoid doing the right thing.
