The photo (above) was recently posted on the Distinctly Montana Facebook page. In the picture, you can see the Tuller and Rich store, next to Empire Corral.

The location of the photo is not known, but it is speculated that it is somewhere in the vicinity of downtown Bozeman.

I'm a bit of a nerd when it comes to history, and I think this is really cool, especially because Montana didn't officially become a state until 1889. The picture was taken 23 years before that.
