Google and the University of California, Berkeley, have partnered to create an eclipse simulator that will show you what the solar eclipse on August 21 will look like from where ever you are watching it from. It will be the first total solar eclipse visible from the United States since 1979.

All you have to do is type your hometown or zip code into the simulator to see how much of the sun will be blocked by the moon during the eclipse on August 21, as well as the path in which the sun will travel across the sky.

In most of Montana, we will experience a partial eclipse. Judging by the simulator, it will be at its peak at around 11:40 a.m. on August 21.
