This year marks the 15th annual 'Can the Griz/Can the Bobcats Food Drive', an off-field competition between MSU and the University of Montana to see which community can collect the most donations for their local food banks. This friendly competition takes place on Saturday, November 8 through Saturday, November 22 at the Bobcat/Griz game, and ends at half-time.

We Won Last Year - And We Want to Win AGAIN This Year!

Amy from the XL Morning Show will be at Smith's this Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. taking your food donations! In 2013, MSU and the Bozeman area community donated 100,937 pounds of food plus approximately $47,445.38 to the Gallatin Valley Food Bank. Combined, that's a RECORD donation for the food bank and is the equivalent of 130,590.36 pounds of food!

All of the food collected at Can the Griz remains in the Gallatin Valley and is used to support our friends, our neighbors, and our children’s classmates.

Please don't make Amy stand in the cold for nothing. Stop by Smith's this Friday and bring her some food! We also want to thank Smith's for teaming up with us. Through their Bringing Hope to the Table campaign, Smith's helps out the Gallatin Valley Food Bank all year round.

Now, come on! Let's beat the Griz on the football field, and Can the Griz by donating food this Friday at Smith's!
