Since we had Lynken, the longest road trip we have taken is to Great Falls.  Which ends up being a little less than 3 hours in a car seat.  That all changed this weekend when we headed to Sidney, MT (400 Miles).

The trip to Sidney went really well, surprisingly... We didn't have a screaming baby for 6 hours straight or anything crazy like that.  And Lynken met a set of Great Grandparents for the first time!

Things to know when traveling with a baby....

---A bottle warmer can save you time and sanity!

---Changing poopy diapers at rest areas can be challenging... plan ahead!

---And stick mom in the back seat to entertain said baby when she gets cranky!

All in all it was a good trip.  We got to see some family, work on my brothers house a little, and sleep in... at least an extra couple of hours!

We also learned that my two nephews are split on whether they like the baby or not.  The five year old thinks he has too many cousins already and doesn't want any more, and the 2.5 year old loves her and wants to hold her and hang out with her as much as possible.  So we aren't allowed to have anymore babies... I guess.

Are there any tips you might have for me on traveling with a baby?   Let me know in the comments below!
