Montana State University and the Downtown Bozeman Partnership will host the 4th annual Cat Walk on Friday, August 23, from 11 am - 1 pm on Main Street in downtown Bozeman and at the Gallatin Valley Mall at 2 pm. Details here:

MSU President Waded Cruzado, Champ, the MSU Spirit of the West Marching Band, students, student athletes and community members will make their way down Main St. to create a "Bobcat Buzz" in anticipation of the new school year. The group will visit businesses, play the fight song and pass out Bobcat gear, treats for kids, game schedules and new 2013 Bobcat window decals.

The walk will begin at 11 am at First Interstate Bank (located at Grand Ave. and Main St.) and move east down the south side of Main St, stopping at businesses along the way. Mid-way through the event, walkers will make a 30-minute stop at Soroptimist Park (located at Rouse Ave and Main St.) for refreshments and to sign autographs. Walkers will then head west down the north side of Main St., again stopping into businesses. The downtown walk will end at Wells Fargo Bank (located at Grand Ave and Main St.) at 1 pm. The Cat Walk will continue at the Gallatin Valley Mall at approximately 2 pm.
