After taking a few days to sleep, clear our mind, and most importantly, shower, we've now come up for air after our St. Jude Country Cares Radiothon. This year's radiothon was a huge success (322 Partners in Hope--nearly $80,000 raised), and it was all due to the great people in the XL Nation and all the terrific people who helped us behind the scenes. We certainly want to thank all of you who became Partners in Hope, but I would also like to thank all of you who hand a hand in getting our Country Cares Radiothon on the air:

All of our Volunteers who answered phones. We certainly could not have done this radiothon without you. You guys were upbeat, fun to be around, and all did a terrific job! And one even brought us homemade cinnamon rolls. YUMMY!

Bryan, Dave, and everyone who shaved their heads at the Filling Station, Molly Brown, and the Crystal. Bryan and his buddies were out recruiting for us weeks before the radiothon aired, and brought in over $3500 dollars for the kids of St. Jude. You guys were amazing!

Our sponsors who made the entire radiothon possible. Your support shows your love of community and kids. Thank you for your donations, thank you for bringing us food, and thank you for being a part of something that is larger than all of us!

The Townsquare Media family.... as a new member of the group it was refreshing and exciting to see the amount of teamwork that permeated the hallways during our two-day radiothon. There was not one person who I work with that was not supportive or willing to contribute to our success in anyway they possibly could. It's amazing what can be accomplished when the entire crew is rowing in the same direction, and the radiothon was a perfect example of that!

Lastly, I want to personally thank Amy Moss. Amy jumped on the air and spent close to 20hrs with me--not even my wife wants to be around me that long! Her energy, enthusiasm, and spirit certainly kept me going through the 26hrs of airtime, and no doubt inspired many people to join the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital family of supporters. Amy, you rock!

Again, thanks to everyone who helped, listened, and became a Partner in Hope during our St. Jude Country Cares Radiothon. We can't wait to do it again next year!
