I wonder if they know I worked at Taco Bell and the Black Angus?  I can't wait for this event!

Plus, it's the first time I've ever been called a 'celebrity!'

On Monday, April 22nd ten of Bozeman’s  local 'celebrities' will be serving up John Bozeman’s Bistro fare for guests to support Family Promise of Gallatin Valley.

Family Promise is a Bozeman nonprofit that serves local homeless families with children.

After the “Celebrity Servers” have entertained their tables for the evening, guests will have the opportunity to choose their favorite server and tip them generously with cash or checks.

All tips will then be donated to support Family Promise’s mission to end homelessness, one family at a time.

Celebrities for this year’s event will be: DJ Missy ‘O Malley-Local DJ; Loren Acton-Astronaut; Conrad Anker-World Famous Climber and Mountaineer; Sarah Calhoun-Founder and Owner of Red Ants Pants LLC and Music Festival; Colleen O’Quinn-DJ for XL Country Radio; Milton Menasco-Lead Singer of Milton Menasco and the Big Fiasco; Buzz Tarlow-Family Promise Board President and Attorney; Sharon Navas-Current Principal of Emily Dickinson Elementary School and newly hired principal of the Bozeman’s newest elementary school; Roxanne Klingensmith-Ordained Deacon at St. James Episcopal Church and Family Promise Founder and Beth Saboe-News Anchor for CBS News Affiliate KBZK.

Missy O'Malley from our sister station says 'My goal is to beat newbie local DJ Colleen ‘O Quinn for tips. I’m hoping for a million dollars, but I’d settle for a few thousand. I hope to see you at the Bistro!'

It's on, O'Malley!

Tickets sold out last year!  If you want to go, the only place to get tickets is by going to The Family Promise website, by clicking here.

Twenty dollars of the ticket price cover the food costs and the rest will go to Family Promise. Purchase your tickets before they are gone! Guests are asked to bring only cash or check to the event to tip their favorite servers.

Here's the interview with Family Promise's Bridget Pittman from the XL Country Morning Show.
